The Heat Is On

DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY!

  1. The unimaginable, the unthinkable, is now a reality. You have to see it to believe it. What family with young children would want to live in a house where the tap water can be ignited? No one wants to live with this danger. Yet hydrofracking is making cracks deep underground in the shale. We can't know when or where the cracks occur. We can't know where the gas will escape or what path it will take. We only know that some people have set their tap water on fire and watched it burn for as long as 10 minutes. In my opinion, we should not be weakening the shale in this way and setting in motion such a dangerous outcome. There is no safe way to use hydrofracking.
